Poor Jim, he’s just mad because his career is in the crapper.

Via Yahoo! News:
Jim Carrey isn’t about to let Fox News have the last word.
The 51-year-old put out a statement on Friday alleging that the cable news channel had “viciously” slandered him via its coverage of the Funny or Die video he released earlier this week, titled “Cold Dead Hand,” that pokes fun at the late former NRA president Charlton Heston and gun enthusiasts.
In the statement, the “Liar, Liar” actor continually refers to the network as “Fux News” and says he would “take them to task legally if I felt they were worth my time or that anyone with a brain in their head could actually for fall for such irresponsible buffoonery.” […]
As for what Fox News pundits have been saying about Carrey and the video that prompted his press release: “He is probably the most pathetic tool on the face of the Earth and I hope his career is dead, and he ends up sleeping in a car the way his life began,” host Greg Gutfield implored on the network’s nightly show “The Five” this week. “This video only made me want to go out and only buy a gun. He thinks this is biting satire and going after rural America and a dead man.”
Another conservative Fox contributor, Laura Ingram, also bashed Carrey, reminding viewers that his latest flick, “The Incredible Burt Wonderstone,” was a box-office bomb and insisting that the video was meant to deflect from his “cold, dead career. Carrey has not been funny since, I don’t know, ‘The Truman Show.’”
