NY Times columnist Paul Krugman has difficulty understanding how one can support water boarding but still be against drones.
Let me help you, Mr. Krugman. First, who was talking about water boarding? Straw man thrown in to invoke the horror of GW Bush. Second, who said the filibuster team was promoting water boarding? Third, the filibuster team was not saying they were “against drones” in general; they were asking for answers as to how the administration would use them pertaining to US citizens. As citizens, we all have the right to know under what parameters are government is operating and if they are acting in accordance with the Constitution.
Finally, an interrogation technique against a prisoner rightfully in custody vs. vaporizing an American citizen without due process. Hmm, which one do you think is worse?
Apparently, Mr. Krugman has difficulty figuring out the answer to this question.
