Yeah, why am I having a hard time believing this?

Via Politico:

Secretary of State John Kerry on Tuesday dismissed any notion that taking orders from President Obama would be difficult after being his own boss in the Senate for so many years.

“I’m delighted to work for this president, with this president and his advisors it’s a great team,” he said in an interview with NBC’s Andrea Mitchell in Doha, Qatar. “And the president has a terrific vision and that’s what I really came over here to try and reinforce, is this terrific — to really cement a community of action around common values, common economic interest, common security interests.”

Kerry, on his first trip abroad since being confirmed, said he was able to further that goal, noting that during a stop in Rome, he and Italian leaders agreed on an approach to Syria, and in Egypt, the U.S. is working to help “a new democracy in the throes of a post revolution, find its economic footing.”
