Bob Woodward noted on  Fox News Sunday that  Democratic Senators are calling the White House asking if Hagel will withdraw.

He says the answer from the White House was an emphatic “no”, and then adds perhaps the Senators may be considering the real question-is this truly the best man for the job?

Let’s hope that there is some truth there.
