More like a snake oil salesman.

Queen Hack then asks the Goracle how he could sell Current TV to Al Jazeera and he trots out the same answer he’s been using since he embarked on his book tour, that Al Jizz’s climate change coverage is so awesome it overrides the fact that the $100 million he took in came from the sale of oil.

. . . “I want to ask you about Al Jazeera and the sale of Current TV because it’s controversial,” Mitchell began. “People don’t understand how you as a prophet on climate change could take what’s reported to be $100 million from a network that is basically owned by Qatar – that is an oil producer.”

“It would be like taking money from Exxon-Mobile if Exxon-Mobile owned Al Jazeera,” Mitchell added.

Gore explained that the sale of Current TV is not controversial because Al Jazeera’s climate coverage rivals anything that is broadcast on cable news in the United States.
