Rishon Lezion Mayor Dov Tzur arrives on the scene of a rocket strike on a 6 story apartment building, where one woman was lightly injured, and says “there is no doubt that a miracle happened here.”

The building suffered a direct hit, but none of the family is injured.

“The situation is under control and we are working to help the residents,” Tzur says. “There is no doubt that it doesn’t look pleasant.”

Channel 10 reports that the structural integrity of the building may be at risk.

Hamas’s Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades claims responsibility for the rocket attack, saying it fired a Fajr-5 missile at Rishon Lezion.
