Vice President Joe Biden told the audience at a rally in Ocala, Fl. Wednesday that Mitt Romney and Russian president Vladmir Putin are “buddies,” according toPOLITICO.
He made the comment in the context of talking about what he calls Romney’s flip-flips on Russia.
Biden said Romney went from labeling Russia our most significant geopolitical foe, “who up until recently he called the Soviet Union” he joked, to finding a new best buddy in Putin.
“All of a sudden, I found out his new best buddy is Putin,” Biden said. “Man, I tell you. It’s amazing.”
But no one has any idea what he is talking about and Biden himself did not explain what evidence he was referring to with that comment.
