I thought he promised to be a “good Biden” today?

Via Washington Examiner:

Speaking with a group of voters at a campaign volunteer center, Vice President Joe Biden asked if one of a group of men if he was an Indian.

“Are you an Indian,” the Vice President asked, according to the pool report.

“American,” the man replied.

“No, I mean first generation,” Biden said shortly before he moved on.

Flashback 2006: Biden speaking to an Indian-American voter.

“In Delaware, the largest growth of population is Indian-Americans, moving from India. You cannot go to a 7-Eleven or a Dunkin’ Donuts unless you have a slight Indian accent. I’m not joking,” he said. A spokeswoman later said his point was that Delaware has for decades had a long-standing Indian-American community.
