And why does he think it’s better? Because the rest of the world (that wants America weaker) likes it.
“One of the interesting things that I think we’ve been able to achieve on foreign policy is that we have taken the fight to the terrorists,” Obama said in an interview with Philadelphia radio host Michael Smerconish.
“You notice that you have not seen the kind of international objections and outcry that you saw in the previous administration,” Obama said as he touted his administration’s foreign policy. “The reasons is that we don’t go around thumping our chest about it. We seek cooperation with other countries wherever we can.”
“What this shows is, I think, a smart, strong, steady foreign policy is different than a lot of saber-rattling and chest-thumping,” Obama added.
