First Lady Michelle Obama opted for a custom Thom Browne dress at the Boca Raton debate. Thom Browne is a high end designer, yet another the first lady helped to launch. She honored Thom Browne in July at the Council of Fashion Designers of America awards.

Based on prices listed for the Thom Browne trunk show, the estimated cost of the dress is $1,900 to $3,200.
