[A]n exuberant Iowa crowd kept interrupting Obama today. ” I love you back,” he said at one point, as he went through a list of goals for his second term. “But let me tell you the fourth thing — you’ll love me even more.”
‘The fourth thing” he mentioned was his “plan [to] reduce our deficit without sticking it to the middle class.” Obama said that he will “cut deficits by $4 trillion” and “reform our tax code so that it’s simple and fair, and so that we ask the wealthiest households in America to pay higher incomes [sic] — or higher taxes on incomes over $250,000.”
