CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The leader of the largest pro-Obama super PAC said Tuesday that an Obama — but not the president — is “the country’s best Democrat.”
Michelle Obama is “the country’s best Democrat,” Priorities USA Action senior strategist Bill Burton said here on POLITICO Live, just hours before the first lady is set to address delegates at the Time Warner Cable Arena. “And she’s going to give an awesome speech.”
Asked if she’s a better Democrat than President Obama, Burton reiterated: “Better Democrat than anybody.”
