From Boston Herald:
Does this leave you shaken — or stirred?
Senatorial wannabe Elizabeth Warren channeled James Bond for the Harvard Law School’s annual Public Interest Auction back in 2007.
The black-tie “Auction007,” held in a Monte Carlo-like atmosphere in Austin Hall, raised more than $80,000 in private donations from corporations and law firms for the 350 do-gooders. The net proceeds were unavailable but we can tell you that bidding was brisk on a brick from the original Langdell Hall on the Law School campus (it sold for $600) and an a cappella concert by the Scales Of Justice ($2,000).
