Iranians took to the streets today to denounce “the Zionist regime,” screaming chants of “Death to Israel” and “Death to U.S.,” according to reports in the Iranian media.
In Tehran, hundreds of thousands of marchers poured into the streets in celebration of International Quds Day, a dual holiday that marks the end to the holy month of Ramadan and commemorates Israel’s so-called “occupation” of Palestinian lands, according to Iran’s Mehr news agency.
Marchers decried the Jewish state while yelling “slogans against the Zionist regime of Israel and its main ally the United States,” according to the report.
