While the pro-life women’s group Susan B. Anthony List conducts its own bus tour, the abortion company Planned Parenthood will head out on the road as well in a bus tour covering 11 states. The tour will promote abortion and pro-abortion President Barack Obama.
The Planned Parenthood Action Fund announced that it will be hitting the road later this month, crisscrossing the country on a bus tour to “make sure voters know what’s at stake for women’s health in November.” The Action Fund is the advocacy and political arm of Planned Parenthood Federation of America, which does more abortions than any other abortion business in the nation.
“We see firsthand the people who are being hurt by policies that attack women’s health, so we know why this election matters so much,” said Cecile Richards, president of Planned Parenthood Action Fund. “Through this unprecedented bus tour, voters will hear directly from women in their own communities who would be hurt by policies that politicians like Mitt Romney support.”
The bus tour will launch Aug. 18 and travel through 11 states in 17 days. Exact dates and locations will be announced later this month, the abortion business said. This bus tour is part of Planned Parenthood Action Fund’s largest-ever campaign effort, it added.
“Women in America trust Planned Parenthood, and over the next two-and-a-half months, Planned Parenthood Action Fund volunteers will be going to door-to-door and making phone calls, to educate voters on women’s health issues and where candidates for office stand,” said Richards. “These are basic economic issues for women and families and supporting family planning is smart fiscal policy for the country.”
