That makes one person who feels that way.

BIRMINGHAM, Alabama — First lady Michelle Obama spoke to a crowd of supporters this evening with passion, enthusiasm and urgency.

“I believe our president is doing a phenomenal job,” she said to the crowd.

She evoked her working class upbringing, and that of the president, and said that way of life was what they wanted to continue to champion in a second term. “We are doing this for the vision for this country that we all share.”

Responsibility should be rewarded, she said. People should be able to work hard work, build a decent life and send their children to school.

“Here in America there is always something better if you are willing to work for it,” she said.

She warned that this election will be closer than the last. Sitting on the sidelines is simply not an option, she said.

“This election could come down to the last few thousand people we register” she said, and to those who get to the polls.

She ended her talk with a pep rally feel:

“Are you in?” she shouted

“Yes.” the crowd shouted back.

“No, Are you really in?” She demanded.
