Democratic strategist Hilary Rosen thinks Sen. Claire McCaskill (D-MO) snubbed President Obama after a campaign aide told TPM Tuesday that she would be skipping the Democratic National Convention.

“It’s a diss to the president,” Rosen said on CNN’s “Situation Room” Tuesday. “‘It’s saying me associating with you isn’t good for me.’ It’s hard to spin that wheel. But we’ve seen that in every re-election for years.”
