Actor Betty White taped an advertisement for the White House’s Summer Jobs initiative that was released Wednesday.

In the video, White talks about her first job, which was an appearance on a TV talk show. “It taught me that whatever else I did for the rest of my life, I wanted to stay in that business. And I have. I’m 90 and I’m still in that business and loving it,” the star of the beloved 1985–1992 TV show “Golden Girls” said in the video.

White is an Obama supporter and also visited the White House this week, where she was spotted speaking to the president in the Oval Office and petting the family dog, Bo.

The “My First Job” video series are meant to raise awareness for the White House’s Summer Jobs+ initiative, a cooperative effort between the federal government and private sector entities with the goal of creating 180,000 employment opportunities for low-income youth in the summer of 2012. The program includes a Summer Jobs+ Bank, meant to be a one-stop digital resource that can be accessed through Facebook, Twitter and mobile.
