Vice President Joe Biden’s wife, Jill, said he and President Obama have smoothed things over since the vice president dropped a bomb and forced the president’s hand on gay marriage.

“Joe and barack are — they’ve worked this out. Theyre great on it, it’s fine,” Jill Biden said on the “Today” show. “He, you know, Joe speaks from the heart and that’s what he did, and that’s what I love about him. I know a lot of people aren’t used to that with politicians and maybe that’s what surprises them.”
