I’d say Barack is effeminate enough to qualify as the first female president.

First lady Michelle Obama isn’t interested in running for office herself but told supporters today that a woman will one day have the job her husband holds.

“As long as we stay engaged, and we keep empowering women, I have no doubt we will see a woman in the Oval Office very soon,” Obama told backers in a campaign video designed to respond to questions posed on Twitter.

Obama cited path-breaking examples of Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton, and Supreme Court Justices Sonia Sotomayor and Elena Kagan. All were appointed by President Obama, who has made the women’s vote a high priority this election.

“Like I tell my daughters, women and girls can do whatever they want,” Obama said. “We’ve got to encourage more women to become a part of the political process.”
