The only “truth” Romney needs to campaign on to win in November is Obama’s devastating economic record. Team Obama knows this hence the deflection to Trump.

They know it’s nonsense. But they’ve decided that the radical fringe of their party will do more to elect Mitt Romney than the truth will.
