LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) — Vice President Joe Biden says the Egyptian people will shape their country’s future.

He made his comments during a previously scheduled speech Friday that started shortly after the resignation of embattled Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak.

Speaking at the University of Louisville, Biden called Mubarak’s resignation a “pivotal moment in history.”
