Whenever there is a large group of media cameras and a left-wing cause you know Jesse Jackson can’t be far away.

CHICAGO (AP) — Civil rights leader the Rev. Jesse Jackson spoke to demonstrators ahead of the NATO summit protest march.

Jackson told the crowd in Grant Park along Chicago’s Lake Michigan to be nonviolent as they started the more than 2-mile march to McCormick Place. World leaders began the NATO summit at McCormick Place earlier Sunday.

Jackson also led the chant “We need a peace machine, not a war machine.”
