In Youngstown Ohio today, Vice President Biden will declare to Ohio workers that, “things really are starting to come back” under the Obama administrations policies.
“(F)olks, as you’ve begun to see in the valley, things really are starting to come back.” Biden will say, according to excerpts of his speech. “There are signs of hope in the heartland.”
Biden will contrast Mitt Romney’s economic record with the Obama administration record, suggesting that under Romney American businesses will outsource jobs and close factories in the Rust Belt.
“How many times have you opened your newspaper to find out another factory was closing down? And you probably knew someone who worked there too. Or maybe it was you,” Biden will say. “When you’ve grown up in a community that’s gone through this kind of thing, you know. It leaves a bitter taste in your mouth.”
