For those of you keeping score at home, this is the third time he’s given himself an incomplete.

NEW YORK — President Barack Obama wouldn’t give himself a letter grade for his handling of the economy and instead leaned on what’s become his crutch when asked to grade his presidency.

“I think it’s still incomplete. We’ve still got work to do,” he said on ABC’s “The View,” in an interview that aired Tuesday morning.

It’s not the first time Obama’s given himself a non-grade when faced with the question.

Asked to grade his administration in the summer of 2010, Obama told CBS News “it’s incomplete.” He added: Because until the economy has rebounded fully and people are feeling better, you know, we’ve got a long way to go.”

And he said so again in October, telling ABC News he’d give himself an “incomplete” because “the work that we started is not yet done.”

Update: So he’s admitting to doing worse?
