First Lady Michelle Obama asked North Texans if they are truly ready to help elect her husband to a second term.

“Let me tell you something Dallas, we can’t turn back now,” she told a group of more than 400 gathered Monday in Dallas at the Hilton Lincoln Centre for a private fundraiser. “We have come so far, but we have so much more to do for our children.

“Are you in? I mean, are you ready to roll up your sleeves and work, and talk, and get people signed up, and call on the phone, and talk to the people who don’t want to talk to you and convince the neighbor that doesn’t understand?

“Are you ready to do that work?” she asked. “If you’re in, I’m way in. If you haven’t noticed, I am so far in.”
