I guess that’s why Obama once said, “I believe marriage is between a man and a woman. I am not in favor of gay marriage” . . . no, wait?

“I don’t think it’s a flip flop. There’s no political calculus in this, because it’s not smart. You know, if he’s going to do it from a political point of view it doesn’t make any sense,” Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) said of Obama’s recent public support of gay marriage.

“It also happened to me,” Feinstein said about her evolution of becoming a proponent of gay marriage. “You get to know more and more gay couples. You see the happiness. You see the economic security that marriage brings and even more fundamentally you see children who otherwise would not have an adopted home being able to have that home.”
