The early preliminary numbers via NBC Universal in the ongoing battle between ‘Today’ and ‘Good Morning America’:

For Tuesday: TODAY averaged 5.497 million total viewers, +356,000 ahead of GMA (5.141 million). TODAY averaged a 1.8 in A25-54 rating (2.209 million), +2 tenths (+292,000) ahead of GMA.

And that’s on a day after ‘Dancing With the Stars,’ which are usually the big mornings for GMA.
