Barack Obama admits that he often fibs to First Lady Michelle Obama in order to watch the Showtime series “Homeland.”
The series’ star Damian Lewis was invited to attend a state dinner earlier this month, honoring England’s Prime Minister David Cameron, and reveals that while there, Obama fessed up to telling his family he’s “going to work” when in fact he was watching the show.
“He said ‘Michelle goes out with the kids and they play tennis on a Saturday afternoon. I tell her I’m going to work and then I go in my room and watch ‘Homeland,”” Lewis recalls to TV Guide.
