Right on cue.
Via The Hill:
You “gotta eat” if you’re going to be standing for a long time.
That’s the advice President Obama has been giving to the crowds at his speeches lately, and not without reason.
An audience member reportedly fainted Thursday during remarks by the president touting his proposals for the future of U.S. energy production and consumption. It was the second such incident at an Obama speech in the last two weeks.
The president was in the middle of blasting oil industry subsidies during his speech at Prince George’s Community College in Largo, Md., when he noticed something amiss in front of him.
“Remember next time if you’re going to stand for a long time you gotta eat,” said Obama eliciting laughter from the crowd.
“No, no it’s true,” he responded. “You got to get something to eat, you got to get some juice. I’m just saying it’s true.”
