Running low on new material (and by material I mean empty slogans)?

Via Beltway Confidential:

President Obama reiterated his “yes, we can” slogan from the 2008 campaign at a campaign fundraiser in Houston last night, in which he talked about cutting oil subsidies and increasing green energy spending.

“So what I’ve said is rather than continue a hundred years of taxpayer subsidies to an [oil] industry that’s very, very profitable, let’s double down on our investments in clean energy industry,” Obama said last night, before beginning the litany — “Yes, oil. Yes, gas. Yes, solar. Yes, wind.”

“Yes, we can,” Obama repeated, to the crowd’s delight, after someone in the audience shouted the 2008 slogan. “We can do it.”
