The voting public apparently agrees that nothing in life is free, especially health care. A new Rasmussen poll finds that 51 percent oppose free universal health care and a whopping 63 percent reject it if required to change their current insurance coverage to a free government plan.

In a survey of 1,000 likely voters, Rasmussen waded into the current political debate over free health care and issues like contraception for women, finding that most don’t want freebies.

He found that only 39 percent favor free health care for all Americans, with 51 percent opposed to universal free health care.
