Jay Carney springs to Buffet’s defense in 3 . . . 2 . . . 1.
(Fox News) — New Jersey Governor Chris Christie stopped by the curvy couch this morning addressing all things politics, including his comments to Warren Buffett that he should “write a check and shut up.”
Gov. Christie is fed up with hearing about the so-called Buffet Rule, telling the Fox and Friends co-hosts, “The Democrats just trot Warren Buffet out every time they want to make a point about raising taxes on the American people.”
Gov. Christie responded to White House Press Secretary Jay Carney’s comments calling the governor’s “quips” a distraction. He said, “It is the issue. The issue is that you’re using this guy, you’re using his secretary who’s one of the best paid secretaries in America apparently.”
