Stop the presses! Debbie Wasserman Schultz just made a fool of herself! Wait, that’s not news.

Celebrity mogul Donald Trump’s announcement Thursday afternoon that he is backing Mitt Romney is a classic “me for me” endorsement, as our colleagues at The Fix have noted – a move that appears to help the endorser more than the endorsee.
Apparently, national Democrats believe that Trump’s endorsement of the former Massachusetts governor is a good thing for them, too.
Democratic National Committee Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz (Fla.) took to Twitter on Thursday afternoon to mock Trump’s announcement.
“Next up: Who is Snooki going to endorse? #Trumpendorsement” Wasserman Schultz tweeted.

Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, star of MTV reality show “Jersey Shore,” says she does not plan to vote for New Jersey Governor Chris Christie for president.
The Republican leader is not actually a candidate in the 2012 election and has not responded to her comments. Polizzi said on her Twitter page on Wednesday, February 1, that “someone just told me he’s running for president actually. Woof.”
The 24-year-old reality actress’ anger appears to stem from a September 2011 decision by Christie to veto a plan to award $420,000 in tax credits from 2009 to the production company of “Jersey Shore,” which depicts the lives of party-loving, self-proclaimed “Guidos and Guidettes” in New Jersey and contains censored swearing and sexual or scantily clad images.
“I will not be voting for Chris Christie,” Polizzi Tweeted. “Love always, the “buffoons” from that degrading ‘Jersey Shore’ show. I DEF don’t want a judgmental president who has NEVER met me in person … I’ll stick w Obama.”
