It’s not that women are so much likely to be Democrats. . . its that men are much more likely to be Republicans. There is a strong male dominance in the Republican party. And that cheer that you get is in part ‘How dare my ex-wife show up and have anything to say’ Part of what’s going on there is how “I’m going to demonstrate how I am a patriarch.”
