Obama hands yet another propaganda victory to the Mullahs.

(PressTV) — An Iranian lawmaker says US President Barack Obama’s recent letter to the Leader of the Islamic Revolution attests to Washington’s failure in its confrontation with Iran.

Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesman Ramin Mehmanparast confirmed on January 15 that Obama had sent a message to Iran via three different channels, including US Ambassador to the UN Susan Rice, Swiss Ambassador to Tehran Livia Leu Agosti, and Iraqi President Jalal Talabani.

Mohammad Karim Abedi said on Thursday that after carrying out a variety of plots against Iran, the US has owned up to its failure in dealing with the Iranian nation.

Referring to the fact that Obama had refrained from resorting to threats in his message, the member of Iran Majlis National Security and Foreign Policy Committee added that all questions posed in the letter by Obama have been already answered by the Leader.

Abedi said although the Iranian nation, as the Leader has repeatedly said, supports peace and poses no threat to other countries, Obama must know that if any country decides to invade the Islamic Republic, Tehran will give a crushing response to invaders and all their interests across the world.
