Feels what in his bones? — The ass whooping Mooch gave him last night?

SAN FRANCISCO — The nation’s slow but steady progress toward economic recovery and President Barack Obama’s support of the middle class will not only guarantee him a second term but also a Democratic majority in the House of Representatives, Vice President Joe Biden told campaign contributors Wednesday. […]

Biden said the Obama administration inherited not just a “near-bankrupt economy” but also a nation in which a “fundamental bargain” with the middle class had been broken — a bargain promising that those responsible for the nation’s increased productivity would be rewarded with opportunities for homeownership, good educations for their children and comfortable retirements.

During the Bush administration, Biden said, incomes fell and income disparity increased to its widest point since the Great Depression began in the 1920s, he said, while Wall Street ran amok, leading to the steep decline of home values and retirement investment accounts.

But for Republicans, Biden said, “the notion of income disparity for them is ‘class warfare,’ ” even as they favor tax cuts for the richest Americans.

Biden said he’s “so damn proud to work with Barack Obama. … This guy feels it in his bones.”
