Two of President Obama’s top campaign advisers have made a bet on whose birthday will be more popular: President Obama or first lady Michelle Obama .

The campaign is circulating a card in honor of Michelle Obama’s 48th birthday (which is today), and deputy campaign manager Julianna Smoot has made a bet with campaign manager Jim Messina over which card will be more popular.

“Messina and I have a friendly bet as to whether more people will sign the First Lady’s birthday card than the President’s back in August,” Smoot wrote in an email to supporters.
