(The Hill) — Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-Fla.), in no uncertain terms, shot down the possibility that Secretary of State Hillary Clinton would be on the 2012 Democratic presidential ticket alongside President Obama.

Wasserman Schultz said “absolutely” that Obama would run with Vice President Biden in 2012.

“I’m a hundred percent confident that Joe Biden and Barack Obama are gonna run together as a team,” the chairwoman of the Democratic National Committee said Tuesday on MSNBC.

She said “no” directly in response to a straight question as to whether Clinton would be on the ticket instead of Biden.
